It’s a lovely day for music at the East Lansing Farmer’s Market. For your listening pleasure, may I present the Pretty Shaky String Band. We play fiddle tunes with plenty of tasteful, rhythmic backup. Our primary repertoire consists of Appalachian & Midwestern Old-Time, with a soupçon of contra dance, Irish, and whatever takes the fiddlers’ fancy.
This was the next to the last time I would be playing with the Shakys before I left for Arizona. The upcoming Wednesday night jam session will be the last until I get back next year.
